Protected access points
Anti-bandit Doors
One opening, several requirements
The door is specified as part of the protected boundary.
Anti-bandit doors are purpose-made for controlled access through a bullet-resistant barrier. Frame, door construction, locking, view panel and finish are considered together for the site.
Internal and external applications, non-standard openings and access-control requirements can all be discussed as part of the project brief.
Door construction
Built as a coordinated assembly.
- 01
Steel frame
The standard frame uses 100 × 50 × 3 mm mild-steel rectangular tubing with 32 × 20 mm rebates.
- 02
Layered door leaf
High-density chipboard is laminated with bullet-resistant steel selected for the required performance level.
- 03
Continuous hinge
A ROTON continuous hinge is fitted as standard, alongside an aluminium slam bar and D-style pull handles.
- 04
Configured locking
The standard five-pin cylinder mortice dead lock can be supplemented with higher-security or electronic options.
Performance levels
Match the complete door to the assessed risk.
Mutual's source range defines G1, G2 and G3 configurations. View-panel glass thickness changes with the selected level, so the door and glazing should be specified together.
Standard and project sizes
Measure the opening first.
For a 2100 × 925 mm frame.
Special door sizes and configurations are available on request.
Build the project brief
Start with what you know.
These choices create an enquiry summary; they do not confirm the final specification. Select “advise me” wherever the requirement still needs to be assessed.
Anti-bandit door enquiry
Put the opening in context.
Add the site, application, access-control needs and whether the door is internal or exposed to the elements. Plans and photographs can be shared after the team responds.
