Acceptance and scope

By accessing or using this website, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website.

These terms apply to the public Mutual Safes website, including its product, industry, service, contact and enquiry content. They do not replace terms that apply to a separate written quotation, purchase, delivery, installation, maintenance agreement or other contract.

Website content

We aim to keep the website useful and accurate, but product descriptions, dimensions, images, availability, specifications, standards, certifications, pricing, lead times and service information may change. Content is provided for general information and should be checked with Mutual before it is used for a technical, procurement, safety or compliance decision.

A reference to a rating, standard or approval applies only to the exact product, configuration and documentation to which it relates. It should not be treated as a statement that every product in a category has the same evidence.

Enquiries, quotations and contracts

Submitting an enquiry does not create a contract, reserve stock or constitute an offer to sell. It gives Mutual an opportunity to understand the requirement and, where appropriate, prepare a quotation or recommend a next step.

A quotation or proposal is subject to its own terms, including any conditions about product suitability, price, tax, availability, payment, delivery, installation, site access, lead time, warranty and acceptance. A binding agreement exists only when the relevant parties accept the applicable written terms.

Suitability and installation

You remain responsible for providing accurate information about the contents, risk, building, access route, operating environment and intended use. Mutual can help assess a requirement, but the final suitability of a product or installation depends on the exact conditions and agreed scope.

Where a product is substantial, rated, anchored, installed or integrated into a site, do not rely on website content alone. Confirm the exact specification, installation method and any professional, regulatory, building or insurance requirements with the Mutual team and the relevant specialists.

Acceptable use

You must not use the website to:

• break any applicable law or regulation, or infringe another person's rights;
• introduce malware, harmful code or material that interferes with the website or its users;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its systems, accounts or data;
• scrape, harvest or misuse contact details or other information; or
• submit false, misleading, abusive or unlawful content through an enquiry or other channel.

Intellectual property

The website and its content—including text, logos, brand assets, photographs, graphics, layout, software and other materials—belong to Mutual Safes or the relevant rights holder. You may view and print reasonable extracts for personal or internal business evaluation, provided that you do not remove notices or present the material as your own.

Availability and liability

We may change, suspend or withdraw part of the website without notice. We do not promise that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or free from errors, or that every content item will remain current.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mutual Safes is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from reliance on website content or use of the website. Nothing in these terms limits liability or removes a right that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including any protection that applies under the Consumer Protection Act or other mandatory law.
