Site Surveys & Security Consulting

Start with the site, before choosing the safe.

A survey brings the building, access route and operating requirements into the specification. Mutual can help assess the available space, positioning and anchoring considerations, alongside what you need to secure and who needs access.

For a new installation or a change to an existing site, share plans or photographs and explain how the space is used. Doorways, floor and wall conditions, site rules and the project timetable can all affect the choice of product and the installation plan.

Custom Design & Manufacturing

If the right safe does not exist, build it.

Mutual can assess secure-storage requirements beyond the standard catalogue. External dimensions, internal capacity, shelves and compartments, locking options, finish and quantities can be considered around the job the product needs to do.

Start with what needs protecting, the space available and how people will use the product. Discuss any required fire or security rating early: approvals apply to specific products and configurations, and must be checked against the proposed design.

  • Interior layout and access requirements
  • Quantity, finish and any required product ratings

Delivery, Rigging & Installation

Plan the whole route, from vehicle to final position.

A heavy security product needs more than transport to the property. Mutual can help plan handling, lifting, positioning and installation around the product and building, including anchoring where required.

Door widths, corridor turns, stairs, lifts, thresholds and changes in level affect the equipment and team needed. The final position must also allow the door to open and the product to be used and maintained. Share building access rules and loading times before delivery is arranged.

Useful details for your enquiry

  • Product model, dimensions and weight if known
  • Door, corridor, stair and lift dimensions along the route
  • Floor and wall information, loading access and site contact

Repairs & Maintenance

Get a fault assessed and keep equipment working.

Discuss faults and planned maintenance for applicable safes, strongroom doors, vault products and locking systems. A door that is difficult to operate, an unreliable lock or a change in use can all be reasons to have the equipment assessed.

The appropriate work depends on the product and its condition. An assessment helps establish whether adjustment, repair, replacement parts or a lock upgrade is suitable. Describe the symptoms and any urgency so the team can advise on the next step.

Useful details for your enquiry

  • Model or photographs of the product and mechanism
  • The fault, when it started and whether access is affected
  • Site address, access requirements and operating hours

Locksmithing & Lock Services

Match the lock to the product and the people using it.

Mutual can assist with applicable safe and strongroom-door locks, including repairs, replacements and combination changes. Mechanical and electronic options can be discussed according to the equipment and the way access needs to be managed.

Changing users, access frequency or the need for a time delay may call for a different locking arrangement. The team can assess compatibility with the exact safe or door before recommending an upgrade.

Useful details for your enquiry

  • Product model and existing lock type
  • The fault or change in access requirements
  • Number of users and any audit or time-delay needs

Safe Refurbishment

Assess what can be restored before replacing a safe.

An existing safe may still be useful but need functional repairs, a different lock or changes to its interior. Refurbishment starts with the condition of the body, door, hinges and working parts, alongside the intended use.

Mutual can assess whether the equipment is suitable for refurbishment and discuss repairs, upgrades or reconfiguration where appropriate. Where the condition or security requirement makes restoration unsuitable, the conversation can include replacement options.

Useful details for your enquiry

  • Photographs of the body, door and interior
  • Model, approximate age and known condition
  • Intended use, desired changes and whether it needs moving

Safe Removal and Relocation

Taking a safe away and moving it to a new home are different jobs.

Removal takes an unwanted safe away from your premises. Relocation moves a safe to another position in the same building or to different premises, with positioning and reinstallation considered for the new site. Tell the team which service you need so the scope can be agreed.

Both depend on the safe's dimensions, weight, fixing points and the route out. For relocation, the route into the new position matters just as much: share doorways, stairs, lifts and any lifting constraints at both locations. Local and long-distance moves can be discussed around the product, access and timing.

Useful details for your enquiry

  • Removal or relocation, with the current and any new address
  • Model, dimensions, weight if known and photographs
  • Access routes, anchoring details and required move date
